Key Responsibilities-
- Maintaining and increasing sales of company's products or services
- Determines annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing & branding strategies; analysing trends and results.
- Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories;
- Reaching the targets and goals set for allotted territory
- projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products or services
- Establishing, maintaining and expanding customer base
- Servicing the needs of existing customers
- Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market
- Recruiting and training sales staff
- Allocating areas to sales representatives
- Monitoring team's performance and motivating them to reach targets
- Compiling and analysing sales figures
- Possibly dealing with some major customer accounts
- Collecting customer feedback and market research
- Keeping up to date with products, services and competitors
- Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
