Profile Description
Part of the team responsible for the implementation of the “global template” which will enable businesses to move from current business processes and operating systems to common processes, enabled by SAP
Deep expertise in SAP Engineering solutions i.e. MM, BoM, DMS and ECM areas and EHS solution primarily in Product Safety (including Specification Database, Phrase Library, EHS Expert Rules, WWI Templates, and Dangerous Goods), Dangerous Goods, Waste Management, and Substance Volume tracking. Industrial Hygiene business process knowledge is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Provides IT expertise to support the realization and design of the “functional” processes for SAP Engineering and EHS modules
Configuring the SAP system to meet the business requirements for PDM/MM/BOM/EHS as required
Responsible for implementation of Company strategy on EHS i.e. Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, Dangerous Goods, Hazardous substance, Product Safety, Environmental Compliance, Waste Mgmt
Design SAP EHS Processes in EHS areas out of Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, Dangerous Goods, Hazardous substance, Product Safety, Environmental Compliance, Waste Mgmt
Configure SAP EHS and interact with technical team for RICEF development
Partner with business groups and Enterprise IT to deliver engineering centric IT projects. The person will be involved in leading business sessions to define high level business goals/vision, extract business requirements, define performance indicators and provide solutions on various IT platforms.
Requirements gathering with the business for the project deployment deliverables, testing of the solution, business project team training on the newly developed solution / deliverables
Creation of functional specifications for Engineering & Technology function based on the business requirement
Supporting other functional teams in the realization of the global design model (supporting template extensions)
Be a champion of the GDM solution and assist in change management activities
Participate, communicate, work in a Cross functional /cross cultural team effectively 35 Acting as a member of the SAP Engineering COE (center of Excellence) team 35 Insure cross functional process integration between the various SAP modules that interface with Engi 30 Insure cross functional process integration between the various SAP modules that interface with Engi
Qualifications/Experience
6+ years’ experience of work in international corporations, in industries similar to Honeywell, in the area of Product Data Management, Product Stewardship Compliance and Engineering, preferably 4+ years in SAP Engineering & EHS
4+ years’ experience in the area of PLM and EHS covering Product Safety (including Specification Database, Phrase Library, EHS Expert Rules, WWI Templates, and Dangerous Goods), Dangerous Goods, Waste Management and Substance Volume tracking•
Must have worked on at least two/three different SAP transformation projects or in an application support capacity, which includes, bug fixing or changes to an already running implementation
Experience conducting requirements analysis, meeting with business owners, and performing current state system analysis
Experience with SAP Solution Manager, HP Quality Center
Experience with SAP/Basis and Security
Prior consulting experience with exposure to clients/customers in US and Europe
Individual must be strongly process and customer focused
Self-starter, independent thinker and worker, with a positive and can do attitude
Ability to work in a matrix environment
