Sr. QA

Duties and responsibilities

•  Engage in continuous automated and manual testing activity throughout agile development iterations to ensure zero defects.
•  Participate in iteration planning, providing input on required testing tasks, process, and associated effort for the selected user stories
•  Create and manage test cases, bug reports, ensuring they are clearly communicated to the team and addressed in a timely, thorough, and satisfactory manner
•  Provide feedback and recommendations on software usability and functionality
•  Work collaboratively with the willingness to listen and work in a fast-paced challenging environment
•  Focus on continuous QA improvements including usage of appropriate testing tools, test techniques, test automation.
•  Work with QA managers, Development team to develop and execute QA strategies to meet and exceed organizational quality goals

·  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field 5-7 years relevant experience is essential

Technical Competencies

•  Have strong technical skills, both functional and non-functional, manual and automation
•  Strong experience in Automation testing (Selenium, Webdriver, TestNG) and working and maintaining different frameworks 
•  Strong experience in API/Web services testing
•  Experience working with GitHub, JIRA, Confluence. 
•  Ability to build, implement and direct quality assurance principles and maintain the quality of delivery. 
•  Must be a team player and participate actively in the technical/project decision-making process. 
•  Experience in performance, load and reliability engineering  
•  Strong testing and test design skills like scenario identification, Testcases identification, defect identification with a focus on Test coverage
