- Minimum of 5+ years of applications programming experience in the Information Systems industry,
- 3+ years work experience developing Access databases & SQL Databases; 3+ years using VBA
- Healthcare / Hospital / Pharmacy experience a plus.
- Develop, maintain, and support existing MS Excel VBA applications, and analyze and
convert business requirements as needed.
- Able to debug/code difficult functions/macros using VBA
- Ability to normalize complex data/define referential integrity in Access
- Ability to programmatically manipulate worksheet and cell properties using VBA
- Must possess problem solving skills and be proactive in researching solutions
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Create advanced User Interfaces (UI) in Excel
- Develop data automation in Excel and SQL using functions, macros and VBA as needed
- Analyze complex data to develop automated reporting with VBA and Excel
- Perform object-oriented analysis and design, and diligent testing to ensure optimal
- performance of all assigned systems and system modules.
- Analyze the issues and provide solutions for ambiguous problems.
- Developing test plans and software documentation to support code modifications and
additions.
